MSU was designated a university with very high research activity by the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research’s Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
Careers in STEM: Liddi Meredith, hydrogeologist
Dr. Elizabeth "Liddi" Meredith is a hydrogeologist with the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology at Montana Technological University in Butte. She is a member of the Montana NSF EPSCoR research team and shared information about her career with the Montana Girls STEM Collaborative, an outreach program of Montana NSF EPSCoR. Montana NSF EPSCoR RII Track-1 CREWS News Release
NSF Awards Montana $20 million to Advance Research and Education in Water Quality. The National Science Foundation has funded a new $20 million research and education project on water quality in Montana. The project, titled the Consortium for Research on Environmental Water Systems, or CREWS, is a partnership between the University of Montana, Montana State University, Montana Technological University, Salish Kootenai College and Little Big Horn College to study Montana water systems and water quality issues.
