Simon Fordyce, M.S. student and Cropping Systems Research Associate at the Central Agricultural Research Center (CARC) will present on Nov. 30.
Spatiotemporal patterns of nitrogen mineralization in a dryland wheat system
Talk Description: Uses remote sensing to assess spatial patterns in physical, chemical, and biological soil attributes controlling mineralization of nitrogen from soil organic matter in dryland wheat systems of Central Montana.
About Simon: Simon Fordyce is an MSU graduate student pursuing an MS in Land Resources and Environmental Sciences. As a full-time Research Associate at the MSU Central Agricultural Research Center, Simon conducts on-farm agronomy experiments to help improve the sustainability of Montana farms and ranches.
