National Science Teachers Association

National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the largest association of science teachers in the world, launched a program called SciLinks that has changed the way teachers are able to incorporate web based materials into classroom instruction and inspiration. SciLinks provides major science and math textbook publishers with web sites that link to high quality, accurate, and current science/math content to supplement the textbook curriculum. NSTA SciLinks will work with Montana NSF EPSCoR to incorporate web materials developed as part of the Montana NSF EPSCoR outreach program into the SciLinks web sites consequently linking this outreach effort into the most commonly used science textbooks in the nation at no cost to NSF. This program is not totally clear to me. I went to the SciLinks web site and that does not explain things either. -JML
